BRS will pay heavily for atrocities on oppn leaders, warns Bandi
HYDERABAD: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged that atrocities by BRS leaders have been rising at an alarming rate. Even worse they were making use of known criminals and anti-social elements involved in murders, rapes, land grabbing and drugs cases, he said.
Sanjay said that the rule of BRS will end by the year-end and once in power, his party would make BRS leaders pay for their atrocities.
Sanjay was speaking after visiting the residence of leader Murali Goud in Tandur, along with former MP Konda Vishveshwar Reddy and other senior leaders, on Wednesday. His visit was obstructed by the Tandur police who did not want him to go to Goud’s residence.
Later, speaking to reporters, Sanjay said that BRS leaders had attempted to murder Goud’s family members as he had exposed the wrongdoings of the ruling
part MLA Rohit Reddy. While stating it was wrong to attack activists of any political party, he demanded DGP Anjani Kumar to initiate action against the
police, who turned mute spectators during the attack on Goud’s residence. He
also demanded that a case of attempt to murder be registered against Rohit
Reddy.
‘Why didn't the Tandur police register cases against those who attacked the
family members of Goud’, he wondered.
The BJP leader demanded the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to react to the Tandur incident and also initiate action against the culprits.
Sanjay alleged that the last rites of BRS MLA Sayanna were not conducted with state honours as he had refused to sign a paper which pertained to making K.T. Rama Rao the next Chief Minister.
