Lokpal moved against K Chandrasekhar Rao
Mr Roy asked the Lokpal to conduct an inquiry into his allegations and take action against the Chief Minister and all the defector legislators.
Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Cong-ess Committee general secretary K. Manavatha Roy on Wednesday complained to the Lokpal against Telan-gana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and MLAs who had defected to the TRS, accusing them of political corruption.
In his complaint, Mr Roy alleged that Mr Rao had allotted costly parcels of land at low rates to Mr Sandra Venkata Veeraiah of the Telugu Desam and Mr K. Upendar Reddy of the Congress, as well as Mr Puvvada Ajay Kumar, who had defected to the TRS during the course of the previous Assembly.
He alleged that the encouragement of political bribery by Mr Chandrasekhar Rao was by way of influencing officials to allot government land to the MLAs who defected from their parties and joined the TRS.
