Chandrababu Naidu trying to stall irrigation projects, says TRS
Laxma Reddy alleged that Mr Naidu's comments at the meeting were more of an attempt to stall projects rather than resolving issues.
Hyderabad: A day after the Apex Council meeting in New Delhi, the TRS on Thursday accused AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of trying to stall TS irrigation projects.
Health minister Laxma Reddy alleged that Mr Naidu’s comments at the meeting were more of an attempt to stall projects rather than resolving issues.
“TS TD leaders should now realise their leader’s game plan to stall projects and development in Telangana. They should decide if they want to back Palamur project or Naidu. If they are for the state, they should dump the party immediately. KCR has successfully dealt with the issues in New Delhi,” he said.
He also took a jibe at Congress and TD leaders from Mahbubnagar district, accusing them of politicising irrigation projects and playing into the hands of TD leadership.
“Unfortunately for Mahbubnagar, we have a large number of national leaders. They are equivalent to CMs. There is a competition among them to suppress development,” Mr Laxma Reddy alleged.
