DMDK-PWA front to hold massive rally to introduce candidates
The rally will be a massive than the one held in Madurai on January 27, Mr Vaiko said.
Chennai: DMDK-PWA front coordinator and MDMK general secretary Vaiko on Wednesday announced that a massive rally would be held in the city to introduce candidates before beginning of the process of filing of nomination for the May 16 Assembly polls.
After launch of digital edition of CPI (M)’s organ Theekkathir here, Mr Vaiko said that rally would be held before April 22 when the nomination of the election begins. “The rally will be a massive than the one held in Madurai on January 27,” Mr Vaiko said.
When asked when would seat sharing and identification of seats to be contested by each be finalised, Mr Vaiko said that number of seats to be contested by the four parties in PWA was finalised. “Seat to be contested by each party will be finalised after talks with DMDK youth wing leader L K Sudeesh headed committee,” he said, adding that election manifesto of PWA would be released soon.
MDMK leader said that DMDK propaganda secretary V. C. Chandirakumar would be participating along with leaders of PWA in the fifth phase of campaign in southern districts which beings from March 28. “The district secretaries of PWA’s constituent parties will take part in DMDK leader Premalatha’s election manifesto campaigning to be held in 11 corporation including Tirunelveli and Tuticorin from March 25,” he said.
