Meetings, public interaction and poll analysis all in day's work for Shah

HYDERABAD: State BJP leaders accorded Union minister Amit Shah a grand welcome upon his arrival at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Sunday evening.

Senior leaders, led by state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, MLA Etala Rajendar and MP Dharmapuri Arvind, welcomed Shah. Sanjay introduced A. Maheshwar Reddy, who recently joined the party from the Congress, to Shah.

As the Union minister had a packed schedule, his meeting with the ‘RRR’ movie team was called off, as als meeting with the core BJP state committee.

From the airport, Shah proceeded to a hotel in Shamshabad, where he interacted with Kishan Reddy and other BJP leaders, including Maheshwar Reddy.

At the meeting, Shah inquired about the BJP’s activities in Telangana and asked the leaders to highlight the failures of the BRS government by interacting with the people. Shah also discussed the state polls with Sanjay and Kishan Reddy.

From the hotel, Shah left for Chevella for the Vijay Sankalp Sabha. After addressing the meeting, he left for Karnataka on a flight from the Shamshabad airport.
