VIJAYAWADA: A new political party named ‘Bharata Chaitanya Yuvajana Party’ (BCY) launched in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday and conducted a public meeting on the occasion.

Bode Ramachandra Yadav, an industrialist from Chittoor district and former leader of the Jana Sena, formed the new political party BCY. A huge public meeting was held on Sunday in front of Nagarjuna University in the suburbs of Guntur, where Ramachandra Yadav announced the name of the new party in the presence of BR Ambedkar’s grandson Prakash Ambedkar, Suraj Mandal, and other eminent leaders.

Ramachandra Yadav said that the BCY was established with the aim of fulfilling the aspirations of people of all walks of life. He opined that in order for the development of the state to happen, there should be a new political regime. He alleged that attacks on SCs and STs had increased during the YSRC regime. He criticised Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule, saying that it reminds us of demons in mythology as from YSRC elders to activists, everyone is looting.
