Hyderabad: Dismissing claims of enmity with TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy and likening him to a younger sibling, BRS leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu came down hard on Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao over his alleged casteist behaviour.

In a protest at NTR Ghat on Sunday against the arrest of former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Narasimhulu claimed that Rao “cleans his house with cow urine after a Dalit visit”.

The former minister said that he was deceived by Rao, who invited him to join the BRS. “Based on KCR's invitation, I joined the BRS. For the past six months, I have been trying to meet the Chief Minister, but he has not given an appointment. I met former chief minister N.T. Rama Rao and Chandrababu Naidu without an appointment,” Narasimhulu said.

He also demanded that Ra react to Naidu’s arrest.

“If KCR fails to respond on the issue, the BRS would lose credibility among the people. BRS candidates will not win in Nalgonda without my support. The Congress is getting strengthened day by day because of Revanth Reddy. Residents in the city from Andhra Pradesh will play a key role in deciding at least 30 seats,” Narsimhulu said.

While Rao and Narsimhulu were spotted together previously, during the Chief Minister’s Yadadri trip and review of Dalit Bandhu aid, the relationship soured recently.

Narsimhulu expected to be selected to contest from the Alair constituency, but the Chief Minister decided to go with the party MLA G. Sunitha Reddy.
