Hyderabad: AP TD MLC Payyavula Kesav on Monday denied allegations levelled by TS TD working president A. Revanth Reddy that he jointly owned a beer manufacturing company in Telangana state with Mr Paritala Sriram, the son of AP minister Paritala Sunita.

Speaking at the TD headquarters here, Mr Kesav said his nephew and his friends had applied for a bar licence in Hyderabad and got it through the routine process. “It is absolute false to say that both my nephew and Sriram have obtained a beer manufacturing licence and started the company. It is trash and unnecessary allegations are levelled against me by Revanth Reddy”.

Alleging that Mr Revanth Reddy was always thinking about himself rather than the party, Mr Kesav said ‘ I have an information that both Revanth Reddy and (TRS Nizamabad MP) Kalwakuntla Kavitha had registered a firm some time in 2009. I have no idea what this company was for, but I will provide details later. It is also a fact that Revanth Reddy maintains good relations with (YSRC president) Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’.

He said he knew how many times Mr Revanth Reddy had gone to Delhi to meet with Congress leaders in the last six months. Clarifying that there was nothing significant in Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s conservation with him at Venkatapuram, where Mr Rao had gone to the wedding of Mr Sriram, he said it was just an exchange of pleasantaries.
