Send KCR and Kin to Their Farmhouses, DK Urges Voters
Warangal: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said that the Congress government had fulfilled its promise of Five Guarantees given to the people during Assembly polls. Likewise, the Congress will also deliver its Six Guarantees in Telangana within 100 days of coming to power.
Shivakumar was participating in an election campaign of the party candidates of Wardhannapet Assembly constituency K.R. Nagaraju and Warangal West constituency Naini Rajendar Reddy in Hanamkonda district on Friday.
Addressing separate meetings, he said, "When the Congress came to power in Karnataka, people in Telangana celebrated. In the same way, people of Karnataka will feel happy after Congress forms the government in Telangana state."
Shivakumar alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had deceived the people by not fulfilling promises made prior to the 2018 Assembly elections. The people should teach a fitting lesson to Rao and restrict him and his family members to their farmhouses permanently.
He slammed BRS leaders for questioning Congress regarding the Six Guarantees it gave to the people. He advised them to visit Karnataka to see if the Congress was fulfilling its promise or not.
The credit of giving a top party post to a Dalit leader goes to the Congress party, he said and assured that if it forms government in Telangana, it will render justice to the weaker sections of people.
