Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu welcomes K.C. Deo into the Telugu Desam on Sunday.

VIJAYAWADA: Former Union minister V. Kishore Chandra Deo along with his supporters joined Telugu Desam in the presence of the TD national president and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was damaging the federal spirit of India with his politically motivated acts and hence he joined the TD to fight against the BJP.

In his address, Mr Naidu referring to Telangana Rashtra Samiti working president K. Taraka Rama Rao saying that YSR Congress president and opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would be the next CM, was the proof of their conspiracy politics. “Those three (BJP, YSRC, TRS) do not like the development of AP, all three parties are poisoning AP with cheap tricks. If you dare, compete with me in development, people will teach a lesson for your conspiracies.”

Replying to K.T. Rama Rao’s comments Mr Naidu said, “We are doing works worth Rs 50,000 crore in the capital Amaravati.  Seeing the development in AP they are getting suffocated. Those conspiracies are not possible if I’m here, that’s why they are plotting against me.” He confirmed about the completion of the Polavaram project and Amaravati in the coming days.

Mr Naidu said, “We are very delighted about Kishore Chandra Deo joining TD.  In his 41 years of political history Mr Deo has been a flawless politician.  He is an inspiration to many.  More leaders like him should come into politics. There is no similarity between Mr Deo and Mr Jagan as the former has brought honour to politics but the latter has criminalised it. Jagan has established his party to plan attacks, yesterday at Guntur he attacked Jane Sena and attacked Congress at Nellore,” Mr Naidu said adding TD too had been a victim of Jagan’s “rowdyism”.

Mr Naidu said the TD flag should fly at the Araku Parliament segment, and all seven Assembly seats should be won by theTD.
