N Chandrababu Naidu to hold meeting with mantris, secretaries

The Chief Minister is said to be unhappy with the functioning of some of the departments.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will hold a meeting with all ministers, secretaries, state government advisers and heads of the departments (HoDs) on Saturday. Mr Naidu will review the performance of each department in the current financial year and targets for the coming financial year.

The Chief Minister is said to be unhappy with the functioning of some of the departments. He will ask the officials of revenue earning departments to work hard to achieve the targets fixed for next financial year. Mr Naidu will hold this meeting at the secretariat at 3 pm after adjourned the Assembly on Saturday.

General Administration Department (GAD) special chief secretary Lingaraju Panigrahi has sent a circular to all the secretaries and ministers on Thursday to this effect. Meanwhile, the first meeting of the AP Capital Region Unified Transport Authority (APCRUTA) will be held on April 4 at Vijayawada to discuss about traffic facilities to be taken up in the capital region.

The AP Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) commissioner sent an invitation to the members and requested them to prepare an agenda related to traffic and transportation in the capital region. The APCRUTA was constituted in December 2015 and the first meeting is going to be held on April 4.
