Denying allegations that the Jana Sena was supporting the Telugu Desam, Ms Karat said, “To divert the attention of the people of Andhra Pradesh from his failed policies, Mr Naidu has come up with a front against Narendra Modi. Mr Naidu traveled with Narendra Modi for about four years.”
She said the people should bring down the Telugu Desam and BJP from power. “The people should teach them a lesson with their votes. As an opposition party the YSRC has failed to question the Telugu Desam and BJP,” she said.
She added, “I believe that the rights of the people will be protected only when the Left parties stay strong in Parliament. To suppress the truth about women atrocities, NCRB has not even released any figures of atrocities against women, since 2016.” She alleged that Mr Modi was “very close” to the corporates.
