CPM launches Jana Chaithanaya yatras In Adilabad
ADILABAD: The CPM has started the 'Jana Chaithanya yatra' from Adilabad, with its leaders targeting BJP MPs from Telangana while sparing the BRS government and its policies. Several other leaders of the party have started the Jana Chaithanya yatras in Warangal and Nizamabad and will culminate in a public meeting in Hyderabad on March 29.
The CPM's top leader focused more on criticising Adilabad MP Soyam Bapu Rao for failing to reopen the Adilabad Branch of CCI (Cement Corporation of India), getting Central Tribal university-sanctioned, and Armoor - Nirmal railway lane approved. The CPM leaders stated that there is a need to educate innocent Adivasis about the BJP and its communal politics.
CPM politburo member B.V. Raghavulu and state secretariat member S. Veeraiah openly declared that fighting the autocratic BJP government at the Centre is the need of the hour. Both leaders stated in their speeches that they have invited all opposition parties to their meeting, despite policy differences, because they want to strengthen the opposition parties' hands.
However, Congress leaders responded to CPM leaders' statements by saying that left parties should be cautious in their criticism and that it is also their responsibility to expose the BRS's autocratic rule in the state while criticising the BJP and its anti-people policies.
The left parties are focusing on the Nizamabad, Karimnagar, and Adilabad parliament constituencies and Assembly constituencies in north Telangana to reduce the BJP party's strength and further expansion in the state.
