Be cautious of aides': Pinarayi Vijayan
He said that his government would ensure transparency and a corruption free administration.
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister designate Pinarayi Vijayan has cautioned people against those who claim to be close to him. At a press conference here, he said that those who claimed to be close to him were actually not aware of his style of functioning. “Everyone should be cautious about such avatars. Such elements will be kept at an arm’s length,” he said.
He said people have already started taking his name. Recently one of his friends came across a person who said that he was going to Hyderabad on the directions of the new chief minister. “You see I have not even been sworn in yet,” he said and added that since the person who boasted of his connection with him to one of his acquaintances, he could come to know about it.
Pinarayi cautioned people against such elements. He said that his government would ensure transparency and a corruption free administration. He said even the personal staff of the ministers would be above board. Many believe that the designated chief minister sounded the caution against such elements in light of the UDF government's experience when the personal staff of the chief minister was involved in solar issue.
