TD, YSRC war intensifies on social media
Denying the rumours, Ms Roja lambasted the TD for its unethical' politics and stated that she has no reason to leave the YSRC.
Vijayawada: The war between the TD and YSRC on social media and digital platforms has been intensified, with rumours about YSRC MLA Roja that she would join the Jana Sena.
Citing her absence at the Visakhapatnam Maha Dharna, stories are circulating on social media that she has approached Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s brother Mr Nagababu and asked his help to join the Jana Sena, due to her differences with YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Denying the rumours, Ms Roja lambasted the TD for its ‘unethical’ politics and stated that she has no reason to leave the YSRC. She clarified that she does not intend to join the Jana Sena, which has no base.
It is learnt that some TD strategists were behind the reports to create a flutter ahead of the YSRC’s national plenary, scheduled in the first week of July in Guntur.
“Why Roja should join the Jana Sena should be explained by the social media people working for the TD,” said Talasila Raghuram, YSRC general secretary and party’s programme coordinator.
Mr Raghuram and Lella Appireddy were engaged in the plenary preparations that started just two days ago opposite the Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur district.
Meanwhile, Ms Roja wondered why the TD was so fascinated about her joining the Jana Sena. She shot a barb of her own, asking why MLA N. Balakrishna was not present at Mahanadu even on the second day, the birth anniversary of his father N.T. Rama Rao.
