CM distributes liquor for victory: Etala
WARANGAL: Huzurabad BJP MLA Etala Rajendar on Thursday observed that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is confident of becoming the CM again by distributing money and liquor.
“But he does not know that the people of Telangana are ready to die suffering from hunger. But they are not going to lose their self-respect,” he remarked.
The BJP MLA, however, said as the money distributed by BRS actually belongs to the people of Telangana, voters can take the money but choose wisely and vote for justice.
Rajendar participated in a Polling Booth Mela of BJP leaders and cadres in the Station Ghanpur constituency of Jangaon district.
He explained that the money the Chief Minister is spending by implementing schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima and pensions amounts to only ₹25,000 crore. “But the money KCR is earning by opening belt shops in every street and village is more than ₹45,000 crore,” he underlined.
The Huzurabad MLA remarked that people suffering from illness are not able to get tablets in their region. But at any given time, even midnight, it is easy to get a liquor bottle, he stated.
Rajendar assured that if the BJP forms the government in Telangana, all the aged, including men and women, will be given pensions. “Double-bedroom houses will be distributed to all the poor families,” he stated.
