Hyderabad: Former Sangareddy legislator T. Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy bitterly criticised caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao after his release from the Chanchalguda prison. Mr Reddy was granted two months’ conditional bail by the sixth additional metropolitan sessions judge court at Secunderabad earlier on Monday.

Mr Reddy was directed to produce two sureties of Rs 50,000 each to the court and present himself before the Market police every Sunday.

Mr Reddy reached Gandhi Bhavan in the evening and told media persons: “If people bless me in politics, I will show my power to KCR. The cases against me were deliberately filed to take revenge. The people have not elected KCR to arrest persons who challenge him.”

He said his name were not in the case, while those of Mr Chandrasekhar Rao and Mr T. Harish Rao were.  “The police filed the case suo motu, as there was no complaint against me. I did not do any mistake, I will fight them legally,” he said.

Mr Reddy was arrested on September 11 for allegedly  trafficking three persons  a woman and two minors including a girl to the US after getting them passports by showing them as his wife and children in 2004. He is also accused of taking Rs 15 lakh to drop unidentified persons at New York.
