Hyderabad: BJP president Amit Shah would take part in the last day of the party’s youth wing, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, three-day national convention in Hyderabad from October 26.

The bhoomi pooja of the venue, Parade Ground, was done by BJYM president Poonam Mahajan on Wednesday in presence of party general secretary P. Murali-dhar Rao and  party MP Bandaru Dattatreya.

BJP’s Neha Joshi said the Vijay Lakshya 2019-Yuva Mahadhiveshan, the first of its kind event being organised by the BJYM in the south, had been planned as a digital event with special young guests from foreign countries. She said that the convention, to be followed by a rally, will be inaugurated by Union home minister Rajnath Singh.

Mr Shah will attend the valedictory session on the last day while several ministers will take part. “The convention will be attended by 70,000 office-bearers and a political resolution on how to achieve the target in 2019 will be passed," she said.

"From registration to passes for food everything will be digital,” Ms Joshi said.
