TRS says Congress not keen on polls

Hyderabad: Government whip K. Prabhakar on Tuesday found fault with the statement of Pradesh Congress Committee chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy that his party would approach the High Court challenging the notification issued by the State Election Commission for the municipal elections.
Addressing a press conference at the TRS Legislature Party office, he said that fearing defeat in the municipal elections, the Congress is planning to create legal hurdles and none of the Congress leaders are prepared to take party tickets for the polls to civic bodies as they know they cannot succeed against the TRS.
