BRS activists attack BJP leaders

HYDERABAD: BRS activists allegedly attacked BJP leaders at Bommandevpally in Nasrullabad mandal of  Kamareddy district on Saturday. The BJP activists were taking part in the party Praja Gosa-BJP Bharosa programme. BRS activists allegedly damaged the chairs at the venue and attacked the saffron party activists.

Police rushed to the spot and dispersed both the groups. Following the incident, there was tension at Bommandevpally for some time.

BJP leaders attributed the attack to Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy’s son, district cooperative central bank chairman Pocharam Bhaskar Reddy, who they said was ruling the roost in Banswada Assembly constituency.
