Feroz Khan alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi were “liarsâ€.
Hyderabad: Congress candidate Mohammed Feroz Khan filed his papers for the Hyderabad constituency on Monday, and said only the Congress had the guts to defeat the BJP.
Speaking to mediapersons, Mr Khan claimed that he had demonstrated that there were seven lakh bogus votes in the constituency, including 60,000 bogus votes in the Nampally segment.
He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi were “liars”.
He said Mr Modi had promised to provide two crore jobs and eliminate corruption. Mr Rao had promised a Dalit CM, 12 per cent quota for Muslims and develop Hyderabad on par with Istanbul. He did not even visit the Old City, he pointed out. Mr Khan said the MIM wins the elections due to bogus votes, fear and bullying.
Mr Khan, a commerce graduate, is the son of a retired roads and buildings engineer and has contested elections from the Nampally thrice unsuccessfully, once with the Prajya Rajyam in 2014 on a TD ticket on last year on behalf of the Congress. He had moved a petition in the High Court against bogus voters, and had also exposed a vote registered in the name of Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora.
