Telangana BJP to begin 2-day meet today
The meeting will also finalise the schedule for BJP national president Amit Shah's three-day tour of the state in May.
Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP will begin its much-talked about exercise to strengthen the party and chalk out an action plan against the TS government’s Muslim quota at the two-day state executive meet that began at Malkapur in Sangareddy district from Wednesday.
The meeting will also finalise the schedule for BJP national president Amit Shah’s three-day tour of the state in May.
“The executive committee will prepare an action plan against 12 per cent Muslim reservation, which the party opposes. We will chalk out an agitation programme. The party will also take up burning public issues including the crisis being faced by chilli and other farmers,” said G. Kishan Reddy, BJP Floor leader. Labour minister Bandaru Dattatreya, MoS home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Telangana BJP president K. Laxman, party general-secretary Muralidhar Rao and others will participate.
