AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu briefs Governor on cyclone

Mr Naidu briefed the Governor about the precautionary measures taken by the government and the warning bulletins issued to fishermen.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was angry over the officials for failing to check the spread of diarrhoea in Guntur which claimed the lives of 10 people.

Vijayawada: E.S.L. Narasimhan, the Governor of AP and Telangana, enquired with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu about the cyclonic conditions prevailing over north coastal Andhra Pradesh. 

Mr Naidu briefed the Governor about the precautionary measures taken by the government and the warning bulletins issued to fishermen. 

The Governor appreciated the preparatory steps taken by the Government to prevent the loss of life. He asked the Chief Minister to ensure that a sufficient number of teams from the National Disaster Response Force were readied and essential commodities were stocked.
