TD leaders try to storm DGP office
VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam cadres led by TD AP president K. Atchannaidu protested at DGP office on Thursday objecting to YSRC workers’ attack on TDP’s Anna Canteen at Kuppam and obstructing the tour of TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu to his constituency.
However, when TD workers tried to storm into the DGP office, police foiled their attempt. Following this, the opposition workers and leaders raised slogans CM down-down. They accused Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of engineering the attacks on the NTR canteen as well as Naidu.
Atchannaidu claimed Jagan Mohan Reddy has no right to continue as CM, as he had failed in giving protection to the leader of opposition and former chief minister.
The TD leader warned that they will intensify their agitation if YSRC government continues to harass Naidu and other Telugu Desam leaders.
