BJP launches posters on \'KCR\'s lies\'

HYDERABAD: After having been the target of poster attacks targeting its leaders in the Munugode Assembly constituency, the BJP on Tuesday launched a campaign of its own targeting TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

The two dozen posters targeting what state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was accompanied by senior party leaders N Indrasena Reddy, and Dr Gangidi Manohar Reddy, described as ‘a list of KCR’s lies’ were released by him at the BJP camp office at Marriguda village in the constituency.

Each of these posters highlights “one lie” of the Chief Minister, a promise made the to people and not fulfilled, Sanjay said. “This series of ‘KCR’s Jhoota Matalu (KCR’s lies)’ is a reminder of how the TRS and the Chief Minister are once again trying to fool people of Munugode and the state,” Sanjay said.

He said that the TRS was trying to “buy Munugode voters by luring them with liquor, food, and money, and these posters will be timely reminders to the people why they should not trust KCR.” He called on party workers to widely circulate the posters through various social media platforms so they reach the most number of people.

Among the posters were promises of TRS including making a Dalit the Chief Minister, three acres of land for Dalit families, setting up of Ambedkar Vikas Kendras in all mandal headquarters, a guarantee to buy all the grain raised by farmers, and Rs. 3,016 unemployment allowance to the jobless.
