Bagalkot: Former Minister and senior BJP leader Murugesh Nirani has professed the downfall of the Congress government in the state before the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Asserting his confidence, Nirani declared that the BJP is poised to win in all 28 parliamentary seats in Karnataka.

Expressing his views on the current state of affairs within the Congress, Nirani highlighted widespread discontent among party members.
"Dissatisfaction is brewing within the Congress, with senior leaders feeling neglected. There is palpable discontent simmering beneath the surface," Nirani told reporters.

He also alleged the failures in the implementation of guarantee schemes.

"None of the guarantees are being implemented properly. The beneficiaries are fed up. All works have also come to a halt. People of the state are cursing the government. We will win 28 out of 28 seats in the Lok Sabha elections," he declared.

The BJP leader also underscored the internal dissent within the Congress party.

"Everyone, including Shamanur Shivashankarappa, is opposing the CM's stand. There is growing resentment among 100 new MLAs, including ministers, who are not receiving the necessary funds (for developmental works). The question now is when this simmering discontent will erupt," he added.
