WARANGAL: BJP national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar made sensational comments against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

He said that when the entire nation was celebrating the success of Chandrayaan-3, Chandrasekhar Rao and his family were busy thinking about how to grab the land on the Moon. Chandrasekhar Rao will also make a promise to lure voters that he will distribute three acres of land on the Moon if he is voted to power in the coming Assembly elections, he added.

MP Sanjay, accompanied by the BJP MLAs of other states who are touring various Assembly constituencies in Telangana, visited the famous Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple and offered prayers here in Vemulawada of Rajanna Sircilla district on Saturday.

Later, speaking to the media, Bandi Sanjay alleged that Chandrasekhar Rao was distributing money to the candidates of the Congress and MIM parties, including independents who have a chance to win in Assembly elections except for BJP candidates.

Chandrasekhar Rao, who tried to occupy valuable RTC land, was shocked by the Governor’s decision, and that is why is afraid to see Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan as she sent back the RTC bill, asking the government to make certain changes for the welfare of its employees.

The MP said that when BJP leaders were protesting, demanding the BRS government distribute double-bedroom houses, police used force against the BJP leaders. Chandrasekhar Rao is ruling like the Bengal type of government in Telangana, he alleged.

Sanjay said people of various sections were facing a lot of problems under the Chandrasekhar Rao government. The main aim of the BJP is to dethrone him and help the poor by forming a people-friendly government in the state, he stated.

He said, “The Chief Minister and his family members made Telangana a corrupt state. He himself said that his MLAs are taking 30 per cent of the commission for various developmental works. When Chandrasekhar Rao and his team became billionaires with whatever work they did, why are farmers in the state still suffering and why are they not becoming billionaires?”

Sanjay said that his supporters and well-wishers were asking him to contest in the coming elections from various Assembly segments like Vemulawada, Muthol, Husnabad, and L.B. Nagar. But it is the party leadership that will decide, and whatever decision the party takes I will follow, he said.

The MLAs of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Assam states, C.K. Ramaswamy, Basvaraj, Dharmeshwar Konwar, Diganth Kalith, Muniraj, Shashank Trivedi, and Hemanth Thagaria, were among those who were present along with others.
