TD to launch mass outreach programme 'Babu Surety-Bhavishyathuku Guarantee'
VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam (TD) president Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday announced a mass outreach program called 'Babu Surety-Bhavishyathuku Guarantee', which will be launched from September 1.
The programme aims to reach out to every household in Andhra Pradesh and instill confidence among the people, who are facing various problems under the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.
Naidu, who addressed the state-level TD general body meeting at the party headquarters in Vijayawada, said that the party leaders and activists will visit a minimum of 10 houses every day during the programme. The unit and cluster incharges will supervise the outreach activities.
Naidu said that he will personally visit at least 35 Assembly segments during the programme. He also said that the party is planning to update the records of three crore people during the programme.
"This means that we should meet at least three crore people and very soon, by the time the election schedule is announced, we should personally meet each and every one in the state," Naidu said.
He claimed that the people of Andhra Pradesh are up in arms against the Jagan government for its corruption and illegalities. He said that the TD is the only party that can provide a stable and corruption-free government to the state.
