AP FM Buggana and Sajjala removed from YSRC coordinator posts
VIJAYAWADA: In a significant move, Chief Minister Jagan Reddy as party president has removed all-rounder and senior leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy from the responsibility of party coordinators.
Groupism and bickering in the YSRC have increased in various assembly constituencies, but it is felt that these leaders were failing to resolve these issues amicably. Party sources said the senior leaders who could not make good use of the opportunity given to them were removed from the party positions without any hesitation whatsoever.
Jagan Mohan Reddy, whenever he met the district presidents and MLAs, used to ask them to change their styles, if he felt they were not rising up to his expectations. Finally, the party leadership decided to induct new faces in place for those who were not rising up to the mark.
The group politics and bickering in Gannavaram, Tadikonda, Mylavaram, Tadikonda, Prathipadu and other segments haunted YSRC for long but there were no concrete steps yet to unite these leaders. Rajendranath Reddy spent much of his time in New Delhi to set right the state’s financial matters. Ramakrishna Reddy was busy due to the multiple tasks he had to handle. Hence, they got some relief via the reshuffle.
