Assam CM assures all-round development of TS under BJP
Hyderabad: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma reiterated that the BJP would make a Backward Classes candidate the Chief Minister of Telangana if elected to power, and change the name of Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar.
Addressing rallies in Devarakadra, Medak, Parkala and Ibrahimpatnam, he said, “The BJP’s biggest strength is the enthusiasm of our workers. Once we come to power in Telangana, petrol, which is being sold for Rs 117 per litre, will be reduced to Rs 100. In Assam the price is Rs 97 per litre.”
Adding further, he said, “We will give four gas cylinders to each family free. The government will deposit Rs two lakh in the name of the girl-child. In 20 years, the maturity value of the amount would be around Rs 20 lakh. The MSP for paddy will be increased to Rs 3,100 per quintal. Once the Ram mandir is completed and opened to the public after consecration, we will take people on free trips if we come to power in Telangana,” he said.
He appealed to the people to ensure the victory of Medak BJP candidate Panja Vijay Kumar.
