K T Rama Rao urges public to join Jalam Jeevam'

The minister urged the public to actively participate in the “Jalam Jeevam” programme for rainwater conservation.

K T Rama Rao, IT minister, inaugurated the park, and said that it will serve as a lung space for the nearby residents.

Hyderabad: Rainwater harvesting pits will be set up across all the government offices in the city, starting from Pragati Bhavan. In this regard, minister K.T. Rama Rao said that the rainwater harvesting theme park will be ready by June first week, during a review meeting held on Tuesday on drinking water needs to be addressed this summer. The minister urged the public to actively participate in the “Jalam Jeevam” programme for rainwater conservation.

He said that city water scarcity problems have been reduced compared to previous years. Measures are being taken to ensure that there will no scarcity of drinking water in the capital city.
