Congress says Revanth s comments against high-rises came true
Hyderabad: The Congress on Friday blamed the BRS government's policy for vertical expansion of the city for the rain-caused mayhem.
The Opposition party tweeted an old video of TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy, where he found fault with the BRS government's liberal FSI (floor space index) for traffic chaos in Hyderabad.
Citing a high-rise project as an example, Revanth Reddy said a 3,000-square yard tower will have 500 cars and 1,000 bikes. "If all these vehicles come on the road, what will happen to traffic management," he asked.
Stating that Hyderabad has thousands of acres to expand, he accused the government of going liberal on FSI for kickbacks.
In the tweet, the party claimed Revanth Reddy’s comments on problems of high-rises turned out to be prophetic.
