Bandi Receives A Raucous Welcome

Khammam: Bandi Sanjay Kumar may no longer be the state BJP president, but the MP from Karimnagar and party general secretary, on Sunday received a rousing reception at the meeting in Khammam.

The moment Sanjay was spotted on the dais, the crowd started cheering and chanting of his name even as two bands started thumping their drums in right earnest.

Sanjay received yet another round of welcome when he rose to speak. He accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of making promises under the influence of alcohol and then denying he had promised anything.

Sanjay alleged that the Chief Minister had changed the name of his son from Ajay Rao to Taraka Rama Rao so that he could get a TD ticket when the late N.T. Rama Rao was the party leader.”
