TRS whip says BJP trying to topple KCR government
Warangal: Government chief whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar challenged BJP to spend thousands of crores and create an Eknath Shinde in Telangana, but nothing will happen to TRS government.
“People are solidly behind Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Despite it, if BJP tries coming to power in Telangana through backdoor methods, people will revolt against the saffron party and ensure it has no address left in the state,” Vinay Bhaskar declared on Thursday at a meeting in Chandur municipality of Munugode constituency, which is going for a by-election.
Other ruling party leaders, including MLA Balka Suman, MLC L. Ramana, Kakatiya Urban Development Authority chairman S. Sundar Raj, apart from left party leaders, participated in the meeting, where they burnt an effigy of BJP.
The government chief whip alleged that BJP leaders had tried to purchase certain TRS MLAs by offering them ₹100 crore each. But their attempt was foiled by TRS MLAs themselves. He maintained that two days ago, one of the saffron parrots had again forecast that four TRS MLAs are in touch with him and will join BJP very soon.
Vinay Bhaskar declared that using its political and economic power, BJP had dethroned some democratically formed governments in other states. The party has now engineered Munugode by-election by purchasing Congress party MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy in an attempt to create a political tsunami in the state.
“People of Telangana must be aware of what the Broker and Jhoota Party (BJP) is trying to do and teach it a fitting lesson in the coming days,” the TRS MLA underlined.
