CM Siddaramaiah: BJP\'s Attempts to Destabilise Karnataka Government Will Fail
UDUPI: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that the BJP's attempts to undermine the Karnataka government would be futile, as no Congress MLA could be swayed by their tactics.
Siddaramaiah, who was in Udupi to attend the World Bunts' Convention on Saturday, told reporters that the BJP is trying to destabilise the government, but their efforts are in vain.
"They may have succeeded with Operation Kamala once, but repeating it will not lead to success. The BJP is daydreaming. They will go to any lengths for power. However, this time, none of our MLAs will succumb to their enticements," he said.
Earlier at the Mangaluru International Airport, Siddaramaiah announced that appointments to the Board and Corporation would be conducted in two phases.
"In the initial phase, we will appoint some of our MLAs as Chairpersons. In the second phase, workers and former MLAs will be accommodated. The appointments will be finalised shortly," he affirmed.
Siddaramaiah also expressed his disappointment with the lack of assistance from the Central government in mitigating the drought situation in the state.
