YSRC seeks CBI inquiry into question paper leak
YSRC MLA R.K. Roja demanded Ganta Srinivasa Rao's resignation.
Vijayawada: YSRC chief Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has demanded CBI enquiry into the leakage of Class X question paper.
The school, where the leak occurred, belongs to minister P. Narayana, who is a relative of Education Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
In an interaction with media persons on Tuesday, he said the TD government was careless about the future of 6.5 lakh students and their families.
He said the government was trying to cover up the issue, rather than probing and searching for solution.
Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy said while the Directorate of School Education itself had confirmed it as ‘leakage’ in its report, Mr Naidu terming it ‘malpractice’ was shameful.
He said HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao from Delhi claimed it as ‘leakage by attender’, and minister Atchannaidu gave another version, which clearly showed that the TD government was trying to cover up the issue. YSRC MLA R.K. Roja demanded Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s resignation.
She alleged that Narayana educational institutions lead in examination paper leakages and students suicide.
Another YSRC leader Anil Kumar accused minister K.L. Narayana of being instrumental in the paper leak. He said the paper was leaked in 4,000 Narayana schools.
