Pawan Kalyan plans to launch ‘Sowbhagya Seema’
Mr Pawan Kalyan called on party workers to fight in all ways.
ANANTAPUR/KADAPA: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said he has a strong desire to contest from Anantapur district in the present polls but he cannot do it due to lack of enough support of leaders from Janasainiks.
Mr Pawan Kalyan said that he would have contested from Anantapur if he had leaders’ support and expressed hope that he may get a chance at least in the next elections and appealed people to support his party’s candidates. He had pro-mised to launch ‘Sowbhagya Rayalaseema’ project to ensure development of Rayalaseema for a decade–long period. As part of the election campaign, Mr Pawan Kalyan participated in the public meetings at Dharmavaram and Anantapur on Thursday.
Addressing the huge gathering, the Jana Sena chief assured that he would take measures to prevent migration of farmers and youths through a separate package by investing Rs 50,000 crore in Rayalaseema.
“They can take care of their parents by staying here and special shelters would be established in every mandal to take care of elders, who were left isolated after their children got migrated,” Mr Pawan Kalyan said and added that Rayalas-eema would be developed in a way which was not done by any Chief Minister earlier and that he would adopt Anantapur district as a Chief Minister to develop it.
Mr Pawan Kalyan said that in a bid to throw light into the lives of handloom weavers, the Jana Sena government would design plans and set up special handloom zones. The weavers would be given low interest loans and houses would be built for homeless weavers. The weav-ers would also be given special packages.
However, Mr Pawan Kalyan called on party workers to fight in all ways.
Addressing a gathering at Kadapa Municipal Grounds later in the day, Mr Pawan Kalyan alle-ged that YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is a direct partner with Amit Shah, Modi and KCR. “Today, my helicopter pe-rmissions were suddenly cancelled. The officials said that they got orders from Delhi,” he said.
He alleged that it was jointly done by the BJP and YSRC.
Recently in Kadapa, National Conference chi-ef Farooq Abdullah alle-ged that Rs 1,500 crore was offered by Mr Jagan Mo-han Reddy to support him for CM post. “Why should you not deny th-at? Are you accepting it?” Mr Pawan Kalyan questioned Mr Jagan.
Jana Sena will appoint Rayalaseema Water Commission, he said.
“Land mafia grabbed the farmers’ lands in the name of SEZ. When Jana Sena forms a governme-nt, we must pool one la-kh acres of land and enc-ourage one lakh young farmers towards farming,” he added.
“The Agriculture University will support the youth,” the Jana Sena chief said.
