Telangana TD leader Motkupally says Naidu sold RS seat for Rs 100 crore
He alleged that Mr Naidu was trying to create friction between different groups including Brahmins.
Hyderabad: Telangana state TD senior leader Motkupally Narasimhulu on Monday alleged that party president and AP Chief Minister had sold Rajya Sabha tickets for Rs 100 crore.
He alleged that Mr Naidu had promised him a Governor post or a Rajya Sabha seat, but he had sold the Rajya Sabha ticket for Rs 100 crore.
He was speaking to mediapersons after paying homage to party founder N.T. Rama Rao at NTR Ghat here. He broke down while paying tribute. Mr Narasimhulu said Mr Naidu had stolen the the TD from NTR and was responsible for the death of the party patriarch. He demanded that Mr Naidu hand over the TD to NTR’s family members.
He said “Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan have proved that they are men by setting up their own parties, but Mr Naidu stole NTR’s TD.”
He said if Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and Mr Pawan Kalyan came together, the TD would not be able to retain its deposits in AP. He gave a call to defeat the TD in the Assembly elections.
He alleged that Mr Naidu was trying to create friction between different groups including Brahmins.
Mr Narasimhulu said that it was due to NTR that many poor persons like him had come to this stage. Calling Mr Naidu as ‘Nata Chakravarthy (great actor)’, Mr Narasimhulu said that he had stolen TD flag from NTR with a conspiracy.
Mr Naidu tried to play same conspiracy on TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao along with Mr A. Revanth Reddy, but was “caught red-handed in broad daylight”, the TD leader said.
He said Mr Naidu had no right to speak about Special Category Status for AP as he had taken many U-turns on the issue. He said that the people were people ready to defeat Mr Naidu whom he called a “wicked man”.
