CPM-BJP clash to hide their faults: Congress
Mr Hassan alleged that the CPM and BJP were indulging in violence to divert attention of people from burning issues.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president M. M. Hassan on Friday accused CPM and BJP of unleashing violence to hide their failures. Reacting to the series of violent incidents that took place in the district on Thursday night, Mr Hassan alleged that the CPM and BJP workers were indulging in violence to divert the attention of people from the burning issues.
“While the CPM is resorting to violence to hide the failure of LDF Government, the BJP is doing it to divert attention from the multi crore medical college scam involving he top leaders of the party,” he said. The KPCC president said the attacks on the state leaders and state headquarters of political parties indicated a dangerous trend. He urged chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan to take immediate measures to restore peace in the district and initiate stringent action against those behind the violence.
