Minister says he will abide by CM's decision on cabinet reshuffle
He was speaking after paying tributes to the famous poet Gurram Joshua on occasion of the literary stalwart's 126th birth anniversary
Vijayawada: Education minister Audimulapu Suresh on Tuesday said he will abide by any decision that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy takes during his cabinet reshuffle.
He was speaking after paying floral tributes to the statue of famous poet Gurram Joshua on occasion of the literary stalwart’s 126th birth anniversary celebrations at Guntur. Responding to a question on the cabinet reshuffle, Suresh said that he is ready to work as per orders of the party.
Others who paid their respects to Joshua included Kala Peetham founder and MLC Dokka Manikyavaraprasada Rao, MLC K.S. Lakhsmana Rao, MLAs Md. Mustafa, Maddali Giridhar and Vundavalli Sridevi.
The minister said state government has decided to introduce research works on literature of poet Joshua. Further, works on Gurram Joshua Kala Pranganam at Guntur are going on at a swift pace at an expenditure of ₹ 3 crore. The premises could be ready by the end of this year itself.
Later, Suresh, along with Telugu-Sanskrit Academy chairperson N. Lakshmi Parvati released books of Telugu Academy for students. He said the academy has published 54 titles of intermediate first and second year subjects.
Lakshmi Parvati underlined that these books will be highly useful for lakhs of intermediate students.
