BJP\'s Chugh Accuses BRS Government of Nervousness Ahead of Telangana Polls
Hyderabad: BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh, the Telangana party in-charge, on Sunday said the BRS government had become nervous after Union minister Amit Shah’s announcement that the BJP would install a leader from the Backwad Classes as Chief Minister if the party won the polls.
"A party which never did anything for the welfare of BC communities, which has only protected and promoted family interests, is losing its nerve as the elections draw closer," said Chugh.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had always kept the welfare of the BC communities uppermost in his mind. Be it the Central welfare schemes or otherwise, he had always protected the weaker sections.
As the BRS government has failed on all fronts by promoting corruption and nepotism, it had lost its vision to rule the state and it was time to pack its bags.
