KCR has no moral right to speak democracy: Ponguleti
Khammam: Congress election campaign co-convenor and Palair Congress nominee Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Saturday said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had no moral right to talk about democracy as he was the person who poached Congress MLAs though the BRS got the required majority of MLAs.
Objecting to the KCR’s statements against him, Ponguleti accused the Chief Minister of using power, pelf and perks for his political gains.
He made it clear that he had shifted to BRS only at the request of K.T. Rama Rao and Harish Rao and did not get any posts in that. He criticized the BRS chief for duping the people of Telangana with false promises and faulted him for promising Dalit Bandhu at his rallies in Khammam.
He dared KCR to debate on how many contracts he gave him after joining BRS.
