Rahul Gandhi promises land to SCs, STs
The TRS and MIM are both supporting Mr Narendra Modi, Mr Gandhi said
Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi claims that the wave in favour of the Congress in Telangana will drive away the TRS and K. Chandrasekhar Rao from power. Alleging a secret alliance with the BJP, Mr Gandhi said that the TRS does not stand for TRS, but for Telangana Rashtriya Sanghpariwar.
“Why didn’t they (the TRS) support the Congress in the land acquisition bill at least? KCR has never spoken on the Rafale scam. Has he never spoken a word about Narendra Modi? When I asked TRS MPs why they are supporting the BJP, they said that the orders come from the Chief Minister,” he said.
The TRS and MIM are both supporting Mr Narendra Modi, Mr Gandhi said. “We will end the power of KCR in Telangana in these elections and will also end the power of Narendra Modi at the centre in the 2019 general election. With support of these kinds of parties Modi is not bothered about the poor and shows his partiality and targets the SCs, STs and minorities,” Mr Gandhi said.
“Our government will provide jobs to the youth, houses to the poor and land to SCs, STs. Everyone will be part of it. '500 crore loans will be given to encourage women entrepreneurs,” was Mr Gandhi’s promise.
