Kishan: Rs 100 crore being spent on each seat in TS

New Delhi: Union Minister and State BJP president G. Kishan Reddy said the people in Telangana are in deeksha to get rid of the BRS. In the midst of a hectic election schedule, he shared his recent visit to temples.

Highlighting electoral concerns, Kishan Reddy underscored the significance of voters making choices based on merit rather than succumbing to the allure of money and alcohol. He expressed unease about the rising costs of elections, emphasising the party's commitment to reporting poll code violations through the Vigil app.

"The BRS is fighting polls on the strength of money, and people should be wary about this. I am seeing such huge expenditure in the polls for the first time. I have been in the electoral fray five times earlier but have never resorted to giving money during polls," he said. The BJP state president expressed concern that the high expenses are dissuading individuals with a genuine desire to serve the people.

"Around Rs 100 crore are being spent on polls in each constituency. I have seen many State polls, but nowhere do we see such expenditure,” he revealed.

Addressing the BJP's position post the setback in Karnataka, Reddy reassured that the party is unwavering in its dedication. He explained the party's manifesto, emphasising the focus on infrastructure over freebies. Kishan Reddy addressed accusations of misuse of power and baseless political allegations, reflecting on the unique challenges of the ongoing polls.

Closing on an optimistic note, Kishan Reddy conveyed the party's hopeful outlook for gaining more seats in North Telangana and the twin cities, suggesting an undercurrent of support for the BJP.
