Beneficiaries in Andhra Pradesh to get pensions from tomorrow

Over 2.66L volunteers and 15,000 welfare education assistants / ward welfare development secretaries will be taking part in the disbursement

VIJAYAWADA: All is set for distribution of 60.88 lakh pensions from May 1 to May 5 May under YSR Pension Kanuka in Andhra Pradesh.

Confirming this on Friday, panchayatraj minister B. Mutyala Naidu disclosed that ₹1,547.17 crore have already been transferred to all village / ward secretariats in the state.

The highest number of 3,06,928 pension beneficiaries will be given away in Srikakulam district and lowest 1,19,206 in Alluri Sitharama Raju. The pension amount will be disbursed at doorsteps of pensioners through Pensioner Biometric Authentication, IRIS Authentication and Realtime Beneficiary Identification System (RBIS) – Pensioner Facial Authentication.

The minister said 2.66 lakh volunteers and 15,000 welfare education assistants / ward welfare development secretaries will be taking part in the disbursement.

Pension amounts have been transferred to the following corporations for disbursal:

AP BC Cooperative Finance Corporation, Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Castes Coop. Finance  Corporation, APSTCFC LTD (TRICOR), AP State Minorities Finance Corporation, AP State Economically Backward Classes  Welfare and Development Corporation, AP State Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation, AP Reddy Welfare and Development Corporation, AP Kamma Welfare and Development  Corporation, AP Kshatriya Welfare and Development Corporation, AP Vysya Welfare and Development Corporation and Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation.
