Visakhapatnam: Former minister and senior TD functionary Kondru Murali has said the ruling YSRC will lose deposits in many constituencies in the coming elections as the leaders are neck-deep in corruption.

The former minister was addressing a gathering during the 'Bhavishyattuku Guarantee' chaitanya yatra in Visakhapatnam South constituency under the leadership of segment incharge and former MLA Gandi Babji.

Kondru Murali said the YSRC government failed in all the sectors and the state’s wealth was being plundered by top leaders of the ruling party.

Some of the YSRC leaders descended on Visakhapatnam and grabbed valuable lands. “Out of fear, many of them applied for gun licences.”

He also alleged that by increasing the liquor prices, the poor were being exploited in AP. Stating that the bus yatra programme won a good response from the people, the former minister said the people were enthusiastic about making Chandrababu Naidu the next chief minister.

AP Telugu Nadu students front president Pranav Gopal said the YSRC government destroyed the education system. Eleven students committed suicide two days after the Tenth class results were out, he said.
