The World Cup is still days away. However, the cricket fever seems to be creating waves in the world of politics. Telangana Congress has taken the lead to use the context to loudly spell out their six gaurantees on the likes of a batsman hitting delivery from the opponent for a six.

"Congress' Six Telangana Victory Fix," Says TPCC in Cricket Video. The caption reads, "In the cricket match of politics, the corrupt BRS govt is surely getting bowled over by Congress' six promises! It is pretty much clear who's going to win this political match in Telangana!"

The BRS party has decided to follow suit by retaliating with their comments. The pink party claims  that the Congress video is inspired from an old Aam Aadmi Party video. But it is interesting to note that the winds of change are apparent as the Congress is taking the lead this time which has evoked a response from the BRS.

Until recently, it was BRS which would set the agenda. But this time, the tables have turned with Congress taking charge and going all out to grab the first mover advantage against the BRS.

Interestingly enough, even as a virtual war between the Congress and the BRS escalates, the BJP continues to be in a state of slumber. While the Congress was the first  to declare its manifesto for Telangana, the BRS chose to announce the candidates first. However, the BJP seems to be undecided about candidates or manifesto.

The game has only just begun. It would be interesting to watch how far this would go before the final verdict.
