Training for YSR Congress cadres
Booth-level training to the party cadre from February 6 to 17.
GUNTUR: The YSR Congress will begin booth-level training to the party cadre from February 6 to 17.
Former minister and senior YSRC leader Botsa Satyanarayana, addressing a press meet in Guntur on Tuesday, said that Opposition leader and YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra is a big hit as public are welcoming him to their villages in large numbers and even joining the padayatra.
He said that Mr Reddy received memorandum regarding various problems from the people during his 1,000 km walkathon.
He said that public were wanting the YSRC at the helm of affairs and wishing Mr Jagan to be next CM of the State.
He predicted that the people welcoming Mr Reddy would increase further till he completes his 2,000-km walkathon and that it would the way for YSRC’s victory in the elections.
Mr Satyanarayana said that the YSRC will offer booth-level training to party conveners at Bandalamudi Gardens in Guntur. Conveners of two Assembly constituencies will be trained every day.
He lamented that Guntur district, the headquarters for the new Capital Amaravati, has become a hub for fake and spurious products.
He alleged that Telugu Desam ministers, legislators and leaders were involved in many illegal activities.
“As the TD leaders were involved in the kidney racket, the government is trying to dilute the case to save the TD men.”
“It is to save the TD leaders only that there were no cases registered till date in connection with attacks on Muslims in Janapadu and Dalits in Gottipadu.”
A meeting was held in which Mr Satyanarayana, MLAs, Md Mustafa, G. Srinivas Reddy and K. Raghupati, Guntur parliament in-charge Ravi Venkata Ramana, leaders L. Appi Reddy, Ambati Rambabu, YSRC Guntur district president M. Rajasekhar and others discussed plans to strengthen YSRC in Guntur district.
