BJP cases against TD govt to defame me, says Naidu to govt
Naidu claimed that expression of views is a Constitutional right of the public and objected to the BJP Government's harassments.
Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that AP BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana filed a PIL in the High Court against Telugu Desam government to defame him and the TD government.
Responding to a PIL filed by Lakshminarayana, the CM claimed that as the BJP cheated Andhra people, the BJP government has been adopting measures to malign the fame of the government through false cases policy.
He alleged that as the BJP government has been misusing the CBI, AP government denied permission to the CBI. Hence, the BJP government used ED to harass AP.
Mr Naidu alleged that the BJP had put cases on AICC president Rahul Gandhi, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav and other leaders to politically harass them.
He stated further that the BJP put cases on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao during the recent Telangana elections but later, due to a secret pact, those cases were withdrawn. He alleged that the BJP will put cases against the leaders who will question the BJP government. He further alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been directing all political leaders to surrender to him and the BJP Government, which is severely objectionable. Naidu claimed that expression of views is a Constitutional right of the public and objected to the BJP Government’s harassments.
