MP: Mohan allocates portfolios among his ministers, keeps home with him
Kailash Vijayvargiya got the portfolio of urban development, housing and parliamentary affairs
Bhopal: Ending week-long suspense, Madhya Pradesh chief minister on Saturday allocated portfolios among his ministers.
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav has kept portfolios of home, general administration and public relations with him. While deputy chief minister Jagdish Devda got the portfolio of finance, the other deputy chief minister Rajendra Shukla was given the portfolio of health and family welfare.
Kailash Vijayvargiya got the portfolio of urban development, housing and parliamentary affairs. Similarly Prallhad Singh Patel was given the portfolio of panchayat and rural development. Rakesh Singh got the portfolio of public works department. Mohan Yadav heads a 31-member ministry.
Earlier in the evening, Mohan Yadav indicated that portfolios have been allocated to the members in his ministry and hoped that all the members of his ministry would run their departments efficiently and sincerely. The development comes after Mr Yadav’s visit to Delhi on Friday.
Mohan Yadav had held discussion with the Central BJP leadership reportedly to finalise the portfolio distribution among the ministers during his visit to Delhi, sources said. He returned to Bhopal on Saturday.
Mohan Yadav along with two deputy chief ministers had taken oath on December 13. He expanded his ministry by inducting 28 ministers on December 23.
